Drive Dog Car Harness

Fastening a dog directly to a car seat belt makes it uncomfortable for the dog to sit and unable to change position during the ride. While this may be safe, it's not suitable for long trips. If you use the additional seat belts you sell, they haven't been crash-tested—though it's unclear why they're made from seat belt material and have stronger carabiners. Fastening them to the handles is inconvenient, and they can't be attached to the rings. Although these same belts are sold for attaching to regular harnesses, as you sell them, that doesn't make sense. You can attach them to a regular harness, but not to a special, tested one. The material is too stiff—it could be more conformable to the dog's body.

The Medium version, while it fits the standard size, is actually too big, so I had to buy the smaller version S. The dog fits into the upper part of a S size, or the middle of a M size. The dimensions are incorrect. The dog is a Border Terrier.

I was looking for a harness that is suitable for big dogs that sit or lie on the car seat. I chose this product because it is safety tested. I really like that all the straps have numbers on them so you can be sure both side are the same length.

After over a week of daily use I‘m happy I invested in this harness. I feel my dog is safe when driving, because he doesn’t move around as much and when I’ve had to emergency brake he stayed safely on the seat and didn’t slam into to footwell.
