Good but not entirely thought through

At first you think a girth for the dog that goes into the regular girth click thing in the car is a good idea. The problem is, dogs do not sit still in the car, like humans. They don't stay sitting straight. They turn a lot. My dog got tangled up in the girth. Had we had an accident, that girth would probably had done more damage. I like that it has a shock absorbing feature but it is not entirely thought through. I think what we need for dogs is a double saftey girth, that is attached from two sides, but not down below, but more at height with the top of the seat. I think that might work for my dog, but i don't even think this exists as a product, i am not sure.

Hi Lena, thank you so much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, we really appreciate it! We can see you picked up both the Click Zero Shock and our Drive harness, and we just wanted to share a quick tip, as the two aren’t designed to be used together. The Drive is crash-tested using the car’s own seatbelt only. Simply thread the seatbelt through the handle on the back of the harness and buckle it in as normal. Using the Click attachment with the Drive adds extra length, which is most likely what’s letting your dog turn around and get tangled. Threading the seatbelt straight through the harness keeps your dog much more secure, and it’s exactly how the Drive was crash-tested. If you’d like a hand with the setup, please reach out to us! 🐾

    Convenient and comfortable

The 'stretch' element allows the dog to reach a little more distance but allows for him to be safe in the event of a sudden stop.
