I have already had one of these life jackets for several years (about 6 years) that I mistook for one of my Leonbergs who had mobility problems and for whom regular swimming was essential to relieve it. I wanted something that, in addition to securing her access to water, could also help her. He has since died, one of his “little brothers” has been using this vest ever since, and by chance this morning, taking off the vest in the water for a few minutes, I noticed how much it helped him to “float” (even if he is a very good swimmer, his butt instantly sank into the water: honestly, I did not suspect at that point, the help that this vest gave him while floating). (reason) So I decided to order two more today, so that the 3 leonbergs in the house would be equipped with them, rather than simple water harnesses that allow safety in case of problem getting them out of the water, but which do not have the role of helping them float at all).. A very small regret: size XL is suitable for a 5-month-old baby Leonberg (test made before ordering today) I find it a little short for an adult Leonberg and we can't find the 2XL...

We have had the life jacket for almost a year now, our dog was just over 1 when purchased. And still very satisfied! Easy to do, and our 41kg dog fits him perfectly! On the sup, turbulent/wild water or on the boat.
